Gifts, hunts, eggs, do nothing cushions, please, thank you

Forgot to say, while I was ranting the other day (who me? Rant?), that Vent du Sud is in another hunt.

I popped three small gifts in my egg. This stool with 3 sits and colour change cushions, for instance.

(No, I have not changed since the "white" post, and crashed three times yesterday trying to do a notecard abut that skirt I wrote about in it).

No, I am not going to rant about hunts. I do know that some people just hunt because it's fun and they just want to complete it, even if they don't want or need the contents of a lot of the gifts.

And that's fine.

Uh-huh. Is a 'please' or a 'thanks' too much trouble?


But anyway. This mini light is in the gift too. It turns on and off (wow).

Now, the nice thing about joining hunts is that some people start clicking away, realise that everything is IL, pick up a few items... and say thanks or drop a few Lindens into a tip jar. So thank you all once again.

(I really should put up a poster saying that all revenues until 20 April are going to Doctors Without Borders, yes?)

YES. Go away and make a sign, woman. And work. So go find the egg, people (on a table!), or pick up the new cushion pile at Vent du Sud, for 1L...

Aptly called the Do nothing cushions because they do nothing except look pretty. Or rather they DO all change colour, individually. Just 1L, or more if you feel like helping out (but it's fine if you don't or can't).

Tuesday treats and a small dose of political incorrectness

Y'know if February is a dreary month, Tuesday is a dreary day.

So to cheer it up a little, here's some really pretty, detailed specials from Fleurs du Sud: the rose in the glass vase is still at 1L (boy, it's popular), and the two heart boxes (pink or sober silver) at just 5L... not bad, as the lid opens on click and a second click on the heart inside gives you a (discreet) shower of pretty glass hearts. A fun little gift, because it's transferable.

I'd say buy a dozen and hand 'em out to your harem but that would be sexist, yes? (Yes). But hey. who wouldn't like a little token of appreciation, even if they're just a great friend?

Moving on (good idea, Ari), I've also put out one of our new, also transferable, oil lamps at half price - 49L: click the control and the flame lights or goes out, and click the chimney for a lovely soft glow. Just 3 prims!

Your own, personalised plane or kart

Wondering what to buy your favourite guy, girl, or a friend, this year? Something unique?

He has a couple of versions to show you already. Your own plane won't disappear, though: it's yours, you are the pilot, and you can go exploring SL to your heart's content.

Yes, that low for something crafted with such care. And if you want a plane-giver for your friends, just an extra 100, meaning 400L (meaning unlimited planes can be rezzed)
