Builders, bar stools and bashing head on wall

You know it's going to be one of THOSE days when workers on your roof accidentally cut off your phone line as you attempt to transmit a large bit of work, you realise you stupidly missed a rather important vital notecard and you forgot to put an announced gift in your subscribo.
Herb trio now in there; go grab it here.

But anyway...

Sneak preview of some new stuff as in 3-prim, 4-pose, 5-colour VENT DU SUD bar stool for just 30L (just for a couple of days, then it goes up)

Where? In the bottom half of the tree haven (have to make you work a BIT). Look for, er, a big tree. Or if you like here's a direct TP.

Another photo and showing off HOC Industries Swype sneakers below too, which are great and cheap and colour change and I could live in them RL and SL.

Ah yes and colour strip. Want bright pink? Orange? Blue? Ask and it shall be done.  The bar that goes with it will be at the main store soon too so please, other colour theme suggestions welcomed.

Back to work and trying oh so hard not to shoot builders as I would rather like my roof to be watertight by tonight. Oh, and a working connection (rushes off to bribe workers with coffee and cake).

Old enough to know better (oh, and herbs)

Want one? Read on.

Well, I thought I was, y'know, relatively old and relatively wise. But SL tends to bring out the teenager in me, or maybe just the frivolous, stubborn, totally selfish part of me that RL requires me to tuck out of sight and get on with the work.

Meaning I've been doing too much mooning around looking at virtual waves and getting philosophical in a way I haven't done since I was a sweet young thing staying up too late and drifting around wanting to save the world and become rich and famous (with minimum effort, obviously).

Time to get on with things.

So the beach cabin is FINALLY for sale, and I am actually building more stuff and terraforming a bit and generally shaking off the end of summer blues.

Get it here: 19 prims, click the windows to open and close shutters, COPY
Right now at half price, i.e. 160L
Oh - and the extra 2-prim deck yours for1L.

On the deck, a set of pillows with a whole lot of poses (couples, friends, solo) to match the cabin, also half price at 50L. Also copy.

Both around at offer price for, oh, a day or two. Or three.

And here's me mooning around in my trusty Coco loose flare jeans and Swypes shoes from HOC. Perfect for staring at waves or rather staring at Albert the seagull who has territory issues every time LL does maintenance.

(Pause to put him back in the water. There is something rather disconcerting about a seagull swimming through a deck).

And by the door, three glass jars with herbs.

What do they have to do with a beach house?

Not a lot but if you'd like them, please hop over and pick 'em up for a dollar, or sign up to the subscribo outside the Vent du Sud mainstore and have them for free (later today).

Now, off to work with you woman.

Vent du Sud - new era, great friends and still dodgy photos

One day I will find an offer that works. Total notecards asking for a free build = 0. Ah well.

Read on for a special offer on this one however; by the way:

Am I discouraged? Nope.

So, in the middle of a couple of weeks that saw things like major viewer meltdowns, new keyboard and RL work being chaotic, the owner of the other half of the homestead where Vent du Sud started said 'I'm leaving - you interested?'

I was. And with the help of some fantastic friends who moved in, built, propped me up and calmed me down (Ari, changing a terrain texture is not rocket science), Vent du Sud is now just.... wow and changing daily.

LOTS to do yet but the main square and stores are still there so we're very much open - so please come on over. Lots of delightful bits of the Mediterranean to discover already but so much more to come. And yes, including offers, events and more.

And just in case, y'know, anyone is interested and because I have a zillion things to do and haven't even changed clothes for days, the tree house is for sale at just 200L right now instead of 899L.

Need to put the poster for it up but click on the ladders and doors and windows of the two cabins because - um - that is not rocket science either. Three levels yadda yadda. I am rather proud of it. Click the link, admire the view and tell yourself that you need a tree house at this price.

And that is an AWFUL photo I know but favourites pulled on in a hurry: amazing slimfit pants from Coco, sweater FREE from Fishy Strawberry and fabulous Plainers shoes from Shiny Things.

One day I will take better photos. Maybe? First I have to plant some more trees and panic and do some amazing builder-y stuff.
