Feeling beachy, thanks

Vent du Sud brings you:

Opening 12.30 SLT - 21.30 Europe
at the Vent du Sud ART CAFÉ

Who? R0bin Helsinki, a fantastic photographer and inveterate traveller
What? Views from beaches all over the world: unusual, striking, unique (and affordable!)
Why come today? Because these photos are beautiful. Because R0bin is fun to talk to. And because today, there are gifts (including photos and surprise gifts at the opening) and dancing on the square!
How long? Until R0bin puts up a new series of photos, so don't wait too long - she has so many fantastic themes and ideas.

And while you're here, have a wander on our quiet beaches, admire the sunsets from a lighthouse... and feel free to come over in swimwear and dive off our dock (or watch the dolphin, the seagulls or the waves or take a pedalo ride around the island).

(Swimwear on me: "Swallow" by BareRose which is my all-time favourite and comes in 4 colours for 135L)
(PS: Find it at BareRose using their website here)

We would really, really love to see you at Vent du Sud later today (and the exhibition is already open so if you can't make it later, come on over right away)!

Fig chutney, sculpts and a tiny bit of frustration

No really, this doesn't look like something rather awful, particularly when you see the figs all chopped up ready to make....

Fig Chutney (yes, another adventure thanks to our neighbours-with-fruit-to-spare). It tastes wonderful. Check out the recipe in the link.

So, fresh from putting it into jars (lovely waft of balsamico), I came up with this...
The VENT DU SUD FIG CHUTNEY COLOURED "Curve it!"

...(amid much hilarity from various sources). But seriously, they are such LOVELY colours.

Seats up to 5, 9 prims in total, lots of anims, couples poses too. Get it HERE for the next 48 hours only, and 100L instead of 199L.

Also, I am too broke to buy some fun-looking sculpt maps of jamjars with fruit preserve textures, which I rather like the idea of giving out as freebies. It may still happen. So yes, this is a compromise at half price and then I may go sculpt-hunting.

And I can feel a rant coming on but will TRY to make it short.

I've heard a few derogatory comments recently about 'hmph, that's just a sculpt bought on XStreet with a texture slapped on'. Well, I've seen stuff like that, yes. But there is 'slapping textures on', and there is fiddling endlessly with textures, offsets, tints, not to mention putting poses in, adjusting them, or combining and tweaking various sculpts to make a 'whole' that has some of your own skills in there too.

Few people in SL can do everything. And what is wrong with finding (or paying) people to do the bits you can't (scripting, making sculpts, poses, etc. in my case)? Personally I'd rather have something made using GOOD sculpts I've bought (from somebody I know hasn't ripped them) than battling with software I don't master and producing clunky ones.

Yes, it's good to  learn new things. I'm not saying it isn't. I am slowly getting to grips with making textures, modifying scripts, and adjusting poses. Scripting is currently scheduled for around 2014.

At the moment,  however, I love playing with colours and shapes and moods, and that takes up my SL building time.

Ah, got that off my chest.

So once more... FIGS (and Vent du Sud... and honestly I've redone my LMs so nobody lands in walls out by the patio store any more - sorry!). That one is the main square, the other one is for the pool where you find the offer. Really.

And admire the Kookie 'Lazy' shoes I shall probably still be wearing next week. Well, one of the three colours I bought (another reason why people may have to wait for the jam jars: it was tier time and they were such lovely shoes *sigh*). I need them in a sort of darkish, figgish aubergine now.

Ermmm.... the neighbours bought green beans today. And yellow ones. Watch this space.

However (and really, I'm going now), if you do want a 'custom CURVE IT!, just ask me, Ariadne Korda.

I can do green. Or whatever :)

Strategically placed fruit and other things of interest

It's a lovely summer day here in RL southern France - and blue is really a part of Provence.

So let me show you the GEO set called 'seaside blues'.  I love blue and white and yellow when it's hot, so I thought this might be an idea as a special.

As my subscribo group know, there's a HUGE deal on it, in a box that includes the whole lot - couch, chair, (both with singles and couples poses, colour change cushions), table, rug, pillow set (top pic), glassware plus a little extra (hint: it's yellow).
Where?
At Vent du Sud, obviously. See the set in my mainstore opposite the  tp point here but THEN...take yourself off over here to find the WHOLE lot for 120L. Only until about 12 hours from now (i.e. when I wake up tomorrow morning).

And as I'm sure some of you are already missing the regular fruit references...

I have a friend with a sense of humour who sent it to me as a gift, see. Quite... er... a fashion statement. It's called 'Eat Fruit' and is by Gumi Yao.

Takes a little strategic placing, I tell you.

Have a great Sunday, all... OH.... and another quickie. Superb new 3-prim parasol in FIVE colours outside the Vent du Sud mainstore. 50L only (again until I wake up tomorrow and change it to 129L).

(Please note: this is a non-rambly post - I have a RL man doing a barbecue, which mostly involves him standing watching things cook and me running around doing marinade, table, salads, sauce, drinks, etc. (and clearing up). Does this sound familiar?)

Not a rant (with a digression on apricots)

Well, no news from the decor divas. Must say that a quick IM to say 'ooops sorry it was a glitch' would have gone a long way and I would be writing a blog saying 'oh hey, mistakes happen'.

But... I'm not. So subject closed, as far as I'm concerned.

(Today's nearly-free offer. Small but fun... scroll down for details).

So yesterday turned into a rather bizarre day. I had a deadline to meet for (RL) work, which was somewhat complicated by the arrival of a neighbour with two massive boxes of apricots that needed to hit the jam pan before they went more mushy (the joys of rural French living!).

Delegated husband to buy sugar and chop fruit and stir, while I ploughed through a translation that makes watching paint dry seem positively thrilling. Lunch break, popped inworld to gossip with a couple of friends, and of course for that Barbie Moment.

Nothing quite like feeling feminine in SL when in RL you're in scruffy shorts and tee, with apricot-y dribbles.

This dress from SALT (Summer Romance)? Gorgeous. I'm wearing it sleeveless but it has sleeves too. The belt is from the Fri.day romper suit (which has THREE, each in three sizes - meaning it's one of those incredible staples and beautifully done).

Much better than the jam-smeared RL version.

Afternoon: met deadline (phew). Went for a swim. Cooked a meal. Put labels on a ridiculous amount of apricot jam (with vanilla, without vanilla, plus apricot chutney containing rather a heavy-handed dose of chili).

Went back to SL and...

... wow. People strolling around Vent du Sud, some lingering for a dance and a chat, others sending IMs that made me feel all warm and mushy... it was just great.

Never talked to so many fun people in one evening, ever. Amazing people. Lots of laughs, and some great, great contacts.  Went to bed feeling extraordinarily mellow and delighted to see some of the very, very good side of SL.

Must rant more often.

Well no, actually. It's a bit like chili... overdose and it gets a little too much.

Right now I'm working on something to put in the subscribo (join it!) and also on organising our upcoming opening party for the superb photo exhibition at the Vent du Sud Art Café (but check it out - already open). More on that soon but wow, those photos.

No, the gift will not be an apricot chair. Seen enough apricots to last me a very long time.

If you've read this far, oh brave reader of rambles, here's the firebowl.
5L, copy. Right by the subscribo at Vent du Sud. Turns on and off as any good firebowl should, but really pretty flames.

Have a great weekend, everyone. And believe me, I appreciated the comments, IMs and laughs yesterday SO MUCH.

Thank you.

A hunting we will go. Or not. Rant.

This is a rant. Please be warned.

Also, do help yourself to some Vent du Sud nearly-freebies (scroll down another one). A sample of what I do, with lots of attention to detail. Like, y'know, I'd do with hunt gifts.

So what's making me so grumpy? Well... hunts. Or rather one particular hunt-to-be.

See, I organised a couple, way back. They involved up to 30 (mainly fashion) stores, and it was a hassle. Helping vendors, helping hunters (some of whom behaved liked spoiled brats, but most were lovely), answering countless IMs and notecards, and plugging away to get it on blogs, on the events calendar, etc.

It did wonders for traffic, i.e. for getting the sim I co-owned on the map. Whether it was any use to the vendors is hard to say. We recommended that people put good stuff out, as a 'visiting card'. Some did. Some.. didn't. I was tempted to grumble about that but didn't. It was their call. But for me, I see it as good advertising: people may come back.

I swore I would never, ever run one again, though. It was exhausting and thankless, mostly, so I have to admire those who do.

Usually.

But.

(You knew there was a but coming, right?)

Time for another photo because, y'know, plug for my stuff while I collect my thoughts.

Vent du Sud 'Curve it!' - seats up to 5 plus couples' poses
So, let's say there's a hunt announced - in a group you belong to - that you feel enthusiastic about as you're a creator in precisely that area. You sign up on the same day and send off the notecard to the person stated on the form. Wait patiently to be equipped with the... whatever it is they give vendors. Notecard accepted (so far, so good).

No news.

OK, so maybe they're a bit behind. This happens. Nothing on the blog, so all must be well. Mustn't pester. I've been on the receiving end of this, remember.

You send the notecard again on the day the entries close, just to make sure. Still no news.

Then, a week later, you find out that the organisers have changed and the person you sent the notecard to is no longer dealing with it. She says, however, that your sign-up has been forwarded to the NEW people.

Except it hasn't. Or it has but for some reason you aren't included - not sure which.

"You", of course, being "me".
(Yes, I'm irritated. Can you tell?)

Contacting the new organisers is like bashing your head against the wall. One profile says 'we're accepting no more vendors for the hunt, sorry you're too late tough shoo go away' (sort of thing).

What?

Send notecard anyway, explaining the problem.

Nada. Zip.

Tried IMs yesterday. Bingo... or rather not.

A promise to 'get back to me right away' left me hanging around for two hours.

Not a word.

Tried one last time this morning and will of course update the blog if I finally get an answer. I'm not holding my breath.
Apparently there is drama between the original organisers. I don't give a damn about their drama. I'm just not impressed with how people who signed up early, in good faith, are now being completely left in the dark. Apparently I'm not alone, either.

- Why wasn't there some sort of information sent to the group by the new organisers, to inform people there had been a change?
- What did happen to the sign-ups that were sent to the original organiser?
- Why don't the new organisers at least respond to (polite) requests by the people who signed up on the original form - it's still the SAME hunt after all and apparently the same sign-up rules?

So it rather looks like Vent du Sud won't be taking part. I shall survive. It's is after all only a hunt, not a life-threatening event. I just don't like feeling I've been screwed over because of some sort of internal drama. NOTE: I really feel for the person running the group, however: it is really not her fault that things have gone awry.

During the 'hunt week', however, I will be offering "special specials", including freebies, so please stay tuned.

(Like this one for 1L... click on the plants and they change. Right by the subscribo).

Rant over.

Deck, dock and... er no not that. DESIGN

So, all the automatic LM-giver scripts are gone. I do listen to people. Sometimes. Even if it can be anything but what I want to hear.

Freebies, however? Will have the Brand New Magically Appearing But Self-Deleting LM script (ask scripting genius Geek Back if you want one).

And having done that I am ready to ramble on again.

... about deckchairs.  And an idea I had when I came up with a series of seaside-ish type things. Find these two in the Vent du Sud mainstore at 120L for the pair or 69 each, btw, if you're feeling nautical.  Or captainish or mateish.

Please check them out: yes they're simple but a lot of care went into the texturing.

Yes, they have (3, animated) poses- see one of them below. Three prims each. Ideal for watching sunsets after a long day of fiddling with scripts.

Better still, how about customised ones?

Here's a set I did for a lovely lady yesterday. Custom ones are 80L each, 130L for a pair, and you can choose the fabric, font, wood and the names you want, within reason (for example your own name, or His and Hers, Stupid and Stupider, Master and Slave, or a store name, event name or... whatever).

Big orders = reductions.

Normally, they're copy, but if you'd like them as advertising I can make them copy / transfer for your giveaways for a price we can haggle over.

Turnaround time? normally 48 hours max (unless you have a list of 40 names in Polish or Hungarian).

See the sign at the Vent du Sud mainstore for details but basically you IM me or mail me, Ariadne Korda (my IMs go to mail), I make the chairs (being the trusting sort), and then you pay me. Paying me in advance is allowed too (and for big orders, I will ask for part of the cost up front).

And that sunset? Just the moment of peace I wanted last night.

Fashion notes: Great, vibrantly-coloured long dress by Coco designs and a lovely blowy hair called 'Afterglow' by Cake.

Have to say I never tire of sunsets at Vent du Sud. Remember, there's a great pedalo ride too, off the dock, plus a fabulous swim system out there. Bring your friends!

Blues (and no, not another chair) and compromises

Fairly serious post for once.

For a while, and on recommendation, I've been using a small script that brings up a LM to my place (Vent du Sud) when buyers rezz an item.

The other day, I was pretty irritated (think "strutting around my RL garden muttering under my breath") about people complaining about this... in a freebie.

After talking about it in a discussion forum, I had lots of opinions on getting 'unsolicited LMs'. They ranged from 'clicking a small x is no big deal and lots of vendors have these things' to 'it scares me off buying her stuff' and (!!)  'if she won't delete it from what you bought, AR her for spamming'.

Ouch.

I got pretty upset about the AR stuff although fine, I can see that some people appear to be highly sensitive about 'unwanted LMs' popping up when they rezz stuff. I'm not quite sure how many times somebody would want to rezz anything of mine but OK, if it's a tree and you want to rezz a forest, that would be LOTS of clicks.

On the other hand, I don't spam on my subscribo, and don't send out 'please join my group' messages, or use a greeter.

Bah.

(Note to self: never make trees, and this is me feeling grumpy ... and blog posts need photos).

(Although I did make trees, but not ones that you'd want to rezz a dozen of)

So, amid a lot more muttering under my breath and a slight attack of self-pitying drama-queenishness, I got hold of the amazing Geek Back and said 'please please make me an autodestruct script for my LM-giver-thingy'.

He did. He's great like that. So I now have one that says it won't come back. BUT... it won't come back in *that copy*. So if it's a copiable item and the buyer then pulls another copy out, it will. Meaning if you don't want the automatic LM, you need to rename the de-scripted one.

I do wonder which is the most fiddly / time-consuming to do: rename or click on the LM to decline it.

But it's a compromise. Customers (even potential customers) are always right. I know it.

I haven't decided yet if I'll go through EVERY damned item at my place, rip out the offending LM-giver and replace it (and then make sure all the backups in my inventory are also similarly castrated dealt with too).

I probably will because an AR for spamming is really the last thing I need. But it'll take me a couple of days.

If you have anything of mine and are thinking of rezzing a zillion copies of it, please note that you CAN delete the LM autogiver script using a scrubber script if it's modifiable (meaning most of my stuff). If you can't do that and it really bugs you, then please let me know: for copy items I'll send you a 'without' version but again, it could take a while.  RL is very busy this week.

For freebies, dollarbies and anything below 20L, not going to rip out, replace. Nope. Sorry.

Since RL is also a total bitch workwise, I'm not feeling very fashion-y either. Nor do I have the energy to find the slurl for Zero style but this hair (Dana) is just gorgeous. I tinted it (as usual) but... pale green, to offset the too-red tone. Heh.

(see? Didactic blog despite the whining).

And the Smoothie stool I'm sitting feeling irritable on? No automatic LM.. Four poses, four colours. Instructions inside or on the information gizmo inside my store but basically click on the cushion to change the colour and the frame to change the pose.

Call it a peace offering, or something, but it's 10L today only at Vent du Sud.

Any comments on the who issue? Feel free.

Blank on Monday

No, my photography isn't worse than usual. Nor am I trying for 'fancy effects'.

Logged on this morning to find that yet again somebody hadn't bothered with the 'off' switch on Menthal's great dance floor mist machine (except it was purple and... purple is not my favourite colour). Great gizmo though and apparently it's selling really well. Go check it out (but please TURN IT OFF after!)

So, anxious to avoid work, I started musing about colour and tinting, mainly because last night I tried on the new group gift from Kunglers (50L very well spent, may I add). LOVED both parts, but not together. So having tweaked the skirt to fit, I added the bare top from Coco and tinted it.

I have to say that I tend to buy a LOT of white or light-coloured, modifiable clothes and tint them. Just call me thrifty :)

Did you know, btw, that if you hit advanced / UI / show color under cursor you can match just about anything? Go try it: you get the RGB values of whatever's under your cursor shown to the bottom right of the screen. Small warning though... it tends to do weird things on taking photos, i.e. turning the dialogue box transparent. So unclick again for snapshots.

Anyway, that gave me an idea for the more adventurous shoppers among you.

I've blogged about my pile of pillows with a whole lot of anims in them before. A lot of my furniture packs have matching sets of them thrown in (but they're available separately too) -.have a wander around and see some of the different colours and check out the nPose goodness. Copiable, 100L.

So, as it's Monday, and 'blank' describes me rather well (my desk is groaning under work, none of which appeals much), I've put out a BLANK set you can modify, and copy. Meaning playtime if you'd like to experiment with colours and / or fabrics

Even better, the offsets are all pre-done so that you can apply shaded textures without tweaking too, making it even easier.

6 prims the lot, and really, a LOT of pre-installed anims, including 3 couples' poses, friends' sets, solo...

... including one I'd vastly prefer to stay on rather than attack a  Monday morning (ohmmmmm).

Where? Either direct tp here
Or just look for the brand new Vent du Sud Tree Haven - visible from the main square even with lowish draw distances (and yes, going to blog about it soon).

How long? 48 hours max.

Price? 150L for endless colours, tints and comfy seating. And meditation early on a Monday.

Happy Monday!

Musings over mangoes, and the joy of giving

So yesterday I was making mango chutney (this is sort of relevant, I promise) and hopped into SL from time to time.

A couple of nice things happened... like being BLOGGED IN SWEDISH. And even better, being told about it by a very pleasant Swedish fellow builder. SL can be great like that (and I actually figured out Google translator to make sure it didn't say 'maker of the crappiest stuff in the metaverse'...)

(It didn't).

Also, a couple of people liked my free chairs (see yesterday's post). One lady had a bit of a tussle with nPose but a quick TP and a point to the notecard solved that.

(See? Mango. Read on....)

And then... an IM that to be honest left me halfway between infuriated and rolling on the floor laughing.

See, I add LMs-on-rezz to my stuff. It's called 'advertising', hmm? Where I think it's useful, I bung in a notecard (see above: sometimes it helps but with nPose stuff, no notecard on rezz or you get all the config cards as well).

But, oh bad, terrible builder that I am, I actually popped the LM into the gift box as well as the two chairs, so (gasp) it came up more than once. The box also contained nPose instructions, and - how AWFUL - there was a second notecard in the box that mentioned the Vent du Sud revamp.

This irritated the hell out of one person who received the gift. Note: gift. To the point she sent me a snippy IM saying it was 'bombarding her' to the point she wouldn't shop at my place.

The chairs? No comment. A scripter I know actually offered me a script that showers abuse on a specified user.

I was tempted. "Hello, dear avatar who feels bombarded - here's a peace offering".

No. Honestly, no. I didn't. I won't.

But, logically, which takes longer? Deleting a superfluous LM and an (arguably useful) instruction card, or dashing off a whining IM? Yes, it was superfluous to put the LM in the gift box and I'll avoid that in future but...

... but anyway.

Fashion moment: Latest obsession is this romper suit from fri.day because it comes with a fabulous belt in several sizes AND is tintable. And it's Sunday and romping is in order, no?

And FINALLY THE MANGO THING. Sunday dollarbie moment in case strawberries and lemon aren't enough... (they're now out of the subscribo but if you really want them, yell).

Mango version of the ART CAFE chairs. Yes, dollarbie today only. (Oh, and fire pillar at 10L instead of 79L while we're at it. Chutney coloured :)

(And why yes, they both come with LMs on rezz. And the chair... has a notecard too. Inside it).

All yours at Vent du Sud, by the pool.

(Oh, and I'm making lime pickle later. Want a lime coloured one?)

What was (and still is) in the subscribo, beaches, and George winks at my dress.

Here's the subscribo gift from Vent du Sud (and thanks to Oisele who liked it so much she sent me a photo of it below. Up top is me, trying not to go shopping!)

Four great poses (animated) and two great colours.

Last chance to get it today (unless I forget to take it out, which is quite possible). Don't forget there are lots of other colours (and great value packs of 3 or 6 colours) at the ART CAFE just by the square (more on that soon).

Today's featured item? Think beaches!

This pretty driftwood frame called 'Seaglass' is very beachy indeed: check out the details (10 prims, transfer: a great summer gift for someone). Today, only 50L. In the mainstore.

And speaking of beaches, and shopping, here's an upcoming beachy feature (no, not me, the chairs) and a stunning bargain from RunoRuno that I had to slip in here somehow. It's called the Hyperkinetic dress, costs a tiny 50L and I just LOVE it. George the seagull seems to approve too. He kept winking, anyway.

((And why yes, I am including AMAZING FASHION DETAILS these days. And why no, I am so not trying to break into that scene. I just like nice clothes. And I am vain.)).

More on the deckchairs another time... but for now, the subscribo, remember?

Mustard is the new black - and espadrilles rock upside down

Adjusting poses has its moments, eh? Must talk to Coco Designs to see if she thinks this would be THE advertising campaign for her espadrilles (which are, btw, gorgeous and beautifully detailed and... yeah).

OK, no. Joking. Sorry Ms. Lemon.

Pause while Blogger flatly refuses to insert a GOOD photo of said espadrille. So have a SLURL to Coco instead. Anybody wishing to make me happy, I'll have one of everything in every colour from that store, please. Particularly the shoes and boots. And the tops. Oh, and the skirts. And OK, the pants as well.

And yes, joking again (well... partly.).

Well OK, not at all. (Another pause to look at my Linden balance: where's a Linden-rich man when you need one?).

Onwards.

No hard sell today. Just a reminder to sign up to the Vent du Sud subscribo as the new gift (yes, the chair is a hint) will be in there this weekend, but in two colours exclusive to my lovely subscribo people. Other colours, btw, and low-cost copiable packs thereof, in the ART CAFE which will be the subject of another rambling post soon. You have been warned.

(With poses (four! animated! cute!) that are, I promise, the right way round and the right way up).

And if you want to take advantage of a couple of nearly-freebies while you're at it... please do: lots of pretty little things for a handful of Lindens right by the subscribo board. Examples above but there are more if you look around.

Last, though, a big thanks to an extremely kind client who was extraordinarily gracious about the fact that a boxed set called 'Mustard'* contained black. And no, not vice-versa. The 'Mustard' box did actually have... the mustard version in it. Meaning another double-check of everything last night (thanks again, Sunshine).

My excuse is that it's hot. Or I'm a little scatterbrained about this thing called Trying to Sell Stuff. More like it, eh?

(And I want to rush off to Coco and buy stuff).

*OK OK quick plug in the form of a direct link anyway...because Coco has this new t-shirt out...

Bold, bright and beautiful (oh, and black)

Yes I know I already posted today. But.... I'm EXCITED now I've got the revamp done.

So...

I love pastels, don't get me wrong. I do a lot of pastels. But sometimes you need to make a bolder statement.

The Vent du Sud GEO set "Black and  Brights" is a statement all of its own, and it's a great deal: Although you can buy each piece separately, the whole (copiable) set is a steal: 3-seater couch, chair, rug, table, glassware aaaaaaand a great set of throw pillows...  (yes, those over there with a HOST of poses in them: singles, couples, you name it).

... and all for just 250L: Huge savings on the separate prices. Low prim (couch 7, chair 6, table 4, glassware 3, rug 1 and pillows 6... an entire living room for just 21 prims!

Click on the scatter cushions and table top (see the colour strip), and you can change teach one: bright, bold, rich colours.

But saving the best for last, there's a whole host of fabulous animations in the seating: lots of choices, including couples' poses and  -because I can't be the ONLY person who likes to sit on the floor, can I? - one of those too.

Where? Right here at Vent du Sud, in the smaller store. Direct TP right in front of the set here.

(and if you really prefer pastels, there are oodles of them in the main part of the store, right by the teleport.

The Vent du Sud Geo Line: simple, but unique.

(and I promise I won't post twice a day again).

C'est fini ... the Vent du Sud major revamp

Peer at the photo of my newly-done Vent du Sud mainstore, and there is a person sitting on the couch near the middle. It's me, wondering what on earth I've fogotten to do (there's sure to be something).

Because, after work travel and work in general and not even finishing the blogger challenge, I had one of those things called a "quiet period". Rare, for me, but hey: if you freelance you take work when it's there. Not complaining. Well, not much.

It lasted three days (gee thanks, clients...), but I finally got all the new stuff out and redid a lot of Vent du Sud. The pétanque has moved (see the sign) and we have a GREAT new 'Art Café' (which I need to fit out, but R0bin's photos are in and... wow). More on that later.

Lots of new stuff, though. Meaning packing it, making new signs, putting it in place, remembering to put LMs in, notecards in, testing it Yet Again. Finding a rogue script, fixing it thanks to a lovely person in the nPose group (thanks, Howard...!), and - because this is me - dropping a poster texture onto the main square (yes, yes, lock it, Ari).

Here's some more newness (and NOW I remember what I didn't do.. the cute little patio (also perfect as a store) is on sale too but forgot the poster for that).Until I do, though, just click on it and grab it quick (100L instead of 199L, 16 prims, mod-copy. And... yep, cute - as is the brand new tree haven behind... go see).

So here's an invitation:

Please drop in and have a look around. Swim off the dock or in the pool, relax in the summery Provence sestting. And HIT THE VENT DU SUD SUBSCRIBO if you haven't, or get your friends to do so.

Why? Great offers to come. And gifts. And Rett's working on some great new fashion too!
.

There are some dollarbies around already, but there will be more specials. LOTs more specials.(OK so I'm pleased with myself. Going now to put my feet up now.  Drop by soon?)
